The Rooms

Room 2C

We like to think that our rooms become your rooms when you’re here, in a you-are-visiting-a-friend sort of way. The kind of friend who gives you a set of luxury towels and the most comfortable bed you have ever slept in, and you get to come and go as you please.

Additional ways you will feel at home: each room has its own bath with everything you may need. We have wireless Internet; seasonally air-conditioned rooms, television with DVD player, hairdryer, alarm clock, roll-a-way; portable crib, high chair if needed. There is an extensive DVD library in the upstairs hallway and a guest fridge with bottled water and beverages. If you’ve forgotten anything, we usually have it; just ask.

The story of our room numbers,
j
ust in case you were wondering.

The numbers came first. Over fifteen years ago I was shopping with my sister in one of our favorite antique places in Scotts Corners, New York: Antique and Tools.

We found four china shiRoom 3Beld numbers 1A, 2A, 2C, 3B. I really loved them, I don’t know why, just cool. I bought them. Three years later we were setting up our bed and breakfast and we got to the rooms part. Name them? Number them? What to do? I was going through my things. found the numbers, exactly four and voila, our weird room numbers.
